Repeat Prescriptions

pills_2These are computerised.  When you are on regular medication you will be given a repeat prescription slip.  If you require more medication, you do not need to see the doctor, just tick the items you require and leave your slip at the surgery.  Your medication will be ready for collection within 2 working days.  If you provide a stamped addressed envelope we can post your slip and prescription to you.  The slip will tell you when it is time for you to be seen by the Doctor or nurse for review.  You should make an appointment in good time so that you do not run out of medicine.

The Pharmacists are available for advice and can help with medication queries.

Please do not telephone requests for repeat prescriptions unless absolutely necessary, as this leads to mistakes and confusion and it blocks the telephone line.
